Fruit of the Spirit Faithfulness | Ps Les Cody | MC Waco

In this message, Pastor Les Cody teaches on the attribute of faithfulness as demonstrated in the Fruit of the Spirit, drawing from Genesis 22. He explains that the Fruit of the Spirit is evidence of a relationship with the Holy Spirit, and that faithfulness means obeying God even when the outcome is uncertain. Pastor Les also identifies the opposites of faithfulness—such as treachery, idolatry, dishonesty, hypocrisy, apostasy, inconsistency, and indifference—as signs of spiritual opposition.

He further explores the fruit of faithfulness, highlighting attributes that emerge when faithfulness is present: the Lord’s favor, trustworthiness, steadfastness, courage, and consistency. Pastor Les outlines three ways to develop faithfulness:

1. Faithfulness requires obedience.
2. Faithfulness requires faith.
3. Faithfulness does not evaluate the consequences of obedience.
